Last Year

I think a lot about the past, I've rented a spot in it.
Nostalgia has it's way to make me think different.
I think about the missed opportunities and things that were true to me,
And think how I've changed over the years.

I think a lot about the past, I bought a car in it.
Driving along this path,
I wondered how if it would last, but the car breaks down in the middle of February.

We need a mechanic, in a panic I called the wrong number. My ex, she replied through text.

She asked if we could be friends... I wondered why my mechanic wanted to be my friend

Until I saw the recipient I typed something and hit send. "Sure"

Looking back, my 2017 became the year of "Sure".

Do you want to hang out? "Sure"

Mind helping me out "Sure"

"Sure" "Sure" "Sure"

This year, 2018 is the year of "Yes" or "No". No longer a puppet, Gapedo cut my strings.

Free to live life how I see fit.
