Last Year, This Year

Last year,

I was lost.

Last year,

I didn't know who I was.

Last year,

I didn't want to be alive anymore.

This year,

I was able to find myself.

This year,

I am slowly figuring out who I am.

This year,

I can see a future for myself.

This year,

I escaped those that brought me down,

I finished my first semester of college,

And I found someone that truly loves me.

Make this your year;

Don't let yourself be the same person you were last year.
