Late Night Jammin'

Late night jammin’

in a mobile home

to the loudest of metronomes

Blood stained shirt

grows a deeper hue

from this wound caused by you

But I can’t hear

a single thing

because my ears will always ring

Late night jammin’

in a mobile home

to the loudest of metronomes

Heart beats faster

toes go cold

this drum beat is getting old

These metal strings

singing from the heart

of a lovelorn soul, torn apart

Late night jammin’

in a mobile home

to the loudest of metronomes

Blood stained shirt

grows a deeper hue

from this wound caused by you

Heart beats faster

toes go cold

this drum beat is getting old

Zee Captain

I like to write poetry and stories. Most of the poetry I post is songs that I've either finished writing or that I'm still working on. I'm kind of a beginner musician and when I get good enough, I'll add music to the lyrics and start performing them.
