Late Nights

I've done it again Another late night Last minute paper or even an exam Up all night just to be sure I can ACE it Grades are on the line, got to hit that A With a plus sign right beside it Another Late Night Building relationships through taco runs Forming a brotherhood, a bond, strength that is everlasting Creating community through chats and Bible studies Forging Friendships that will last a life time Another Late night Sometimes I wonder is it worth it? Putting my body through the ringers Just to get that perfect score Crossing my T's and dotting my I's Every time my answer remains the same I am here for a reason and I will persevere Another Late Night Day by day, night by night I wage my battles with this thing called sleep My dreams are calling I yearn for rest But I know it will all be worth it when I look back to this past Another Late Night
