Late Nights and Teen Fights
Up at 10 P.M.
Still no word again.
Wondering what to do
Is it too soon
To ask for answers
To share the blame
Will it ever be the same?
One hour before midnight
So tired of this fight.
Why do you torture me so?
Are you friend or foe?
I look to all the memories we shared
And wonder if you ever cared.
Midnight strikes
With nothing that likes
Anyone at all
Why does it fall
To pieces in my hands
Nothing we had planed.
A thousand reasons to cry
One is all the lies.
Two is the cold truth
When still hearts don't move.
Three is when all that is there
Equals out to nothing they hear.
A fight for no change.
A fight for us to be stuck in our ways.
