Late start

Its been left running since before I knew

You cant stop it no matter what you do.

Believe me I've tried

Tried keeping up

It still never gives in, no

I'm left in the dust

Ticking like a bomb

Trickling, round and round

Like an icy river racing down the hill,

Faster and faster and faster still

Time doesn't stop for no man

No I'm left behind

The sunlight's fading

No the stars arent waiting

For anyone.
