Lately

Lately
Things have been much better.
But still its hard, to deal with the change of the weather.
People still talking, ready to stab me in the back.
I'm still stressed, about all that I lack.
I'm so kind-hearted, but I'm growing colder.
I'm holding on to more, as the days get older.
Working and working, then working some more.
Seizing opportunities, tryna catch the open doors.
Things are different, yet things are the same.
People still tryna play me, but I'm mot getting caught up in their games.
There's still temptation, and I'm trying so hard to keep up the resistance.
I'm hearing different things from all corners, and I'm trying not to listen.
To other peoples views and opinions.
I'm just so ready for this to be finished.
