But Later
Now we see in black and white
The people do divide
Not sure who staged the wicked ways
Not sure who drew the line
Now we live in liberty whose name has changed with time
Lack of facts
Disgraceful acts
A nation in its prime
Now is full of hateful thoughts
Selfishness prevails
A people trapped in poverty
Apportion always fails
Now I lay me down to sleep
The pain will always stay
Because no matter what I do
These things don't seem to change
But later could be hope
An elusive new beginning
A place of peaceful politics and full of good intentions
If later comes and all is well
My heart should be content
Cause' then I'll know
All time in growth
Was time well worth being spent
