Laugh When You Cry

Open your eyes, alive with tears my dear because your beauty will drive away your fears.
Your hurt, your pain
Do not let it push you away
from me, from us or
from the light shining on the dust collected on our future living room shelf.
My darling the pictures we take today will hang on our future living room shelf.
Don't let a thousand miles sever us apart.
Know that we will forever remain in each others hearts.
Because it is when we are faced with an ultimatum:
that we figure out what we're made of,
that know what we'd fight for
and what we'd flight from.
Excuse the excuse of "excuses"
because everybody's got one.
I'd like to say i'm not one
because missing you hurts, it really does, but this pain has a purpose, it's not "just because"
I believe that destiny likes to make us laugh, it just has that effect, because laughter is the happiness you do not expect.
With all due respect my love, do not mind me being correct.
If you cry, cry out of laughter of our love's madness.
Do not cry because you miss me and your heart feels sadness.

This is a poem inspired by my soulmate. When you are in a relationship you really find meaningful, it is ok to be a little crazy.
