Laughing Chair
Your love is a laughing chair
It taunts me with creaking cackles
I want to giggle too
It looks so comfortable and inviting
I sit in it like a bath
I want to bathe in your adoration
But it pierces me with wooden splinters
It hurts
I cry
But, still…
I sit in a laughing chair
