White lights were shining harsh above I'd awaited this day for nine long months To hold in my arms the land and tide To look my baby sister in her eyes As she looked back with a toothless grin And grabbed so cutely at my chin An era then ended and started thereafter For I'd now heard the warmth of my little sister's laughter
