Laundry Day-Rebirth

Crispy-wet cotton sheets blowing

Like sails

Under an idyllic sky

She’s wrapped in her bedding

barefoot on a concrete pad

Dancing with the breeze and her sheets

Forgetting for an instant

Everything binding her to the earth

Maybe any stain can be lifted

It’s laundry day

Rebirth
