Laws of Opposition

Rushing,

     Running,

          Searching.

Lost, Dazed, Confused.

Wandering,

     Drifting,

          Dreaming.

Tired, Dejected, Defused.

Always going in circles,

     yet never coming round.

Always getting up,

     yet never leaving the ground.

Always listening in,

     yet never hearing a sound.

I open my eyes. I am awake.

I close my eyes. I am asleep.
