Lay Down Your Arms
Lay down your arms
you grieving hearts
the war no longer thrives with passion
but instead feeds on souls lost.
Raise your hands
you troubled spirits
the dark will soon break its hold
when the sun peers over the hill
Weep for your brothers
you who still stand
their souls will be lifted up by your tears
and their names will be remembered
Dry your tears
you grand survivors
for you have the chance to change the world
Teach others to lay down their arms
For peace does not come with violence
it comes with a break from the dark.
