Lucky To Be Alive

I’ll admit it is Pride

Because I have been exceptional,

Exceeding expectations; I’m electrical

I shoot for the stars, the sky is no longer the limit.

No pain no gain but this is my life and I’m in it,

Living it to the fullest without thoughts of the critics.

This is my life day to day I live it

Can’t dwell on the past

Because life isn’t stopping for anyone, it passes by fast.

Healing the wounds, breaking out of this cast.

You can’t change what’s happened, but you can let it pass

Bye in your mind, and let it sit and conquer the pain

Because I’ve seen the clouds and I’ve felt the rain

But now I’m reinvigorated and no longer strain

I have jumped off the quarries,

And I have amazing stories

Of love and hate

Success is my fate

And I won’t be late.

So concentrate

This debate

Is no longer at stake.

I’ll overcome this battle, it’s no longer opaque

Lost in an abyss, locked up by chains on my wrist.

It’s some sort of Novocain, it will drive you insane.

This change is right now

And surely, all will be proud

I’ve emancipated this inner freedom, and this demonstrates my reason.
