Lead

A rough draft of ignorance breeds passive manipulation
A fist full of dollar bills equals subtle subjugation
no mattress, empty frame, a futile interrogation
a free spirit pursuing shame, the identity of our nation
the definition of desire, find it in a forest fire
your abstract attire, lol hashtag empire
spiteful scorn and wicked ways
the start of truth and end of days
a bevy of forgotten mainstays
belie the truth and maintain this face
steady your pace, prolong this race
or vanish without a trace
