Lead Me By Tallow

Walk with me though the valley, Hold me up so I can once again see. There is no need to keep tally Fading deeper into the shadows, shine your light upon me Like a candle in a window Gently swaying in the soft breeze Until snuffed out by a winnow Please, darling, don’t let me freeze Do not waste your tears, With me all your worries shall die Sweetheart, let me take those fears. But before we say goodbye, Take my hand and hold it tight, You’ll get along just fine. Hold it with all your might Promise me you’re going to shine No fight on earth is more important Than being strong and holding on. My light is now dim, going dormant Darling, hold me close, nothing will go wrong.
