Lead me True

Lead me true

I’m walking on a tightrope

Moving so slow.

I’m walking on a tightrope with

With know where to go.

It’s a long way down.

It’s a long way across.

But it’s a short trip up

To sleep in the stars.

What a scary thought.

Looking down at where you cannot go.

I am not ready to leave.

I do not wish to stay.

Oh why, oh why

Did I come this way?

To test myself or to test my faith I can’t recall.

I no longer feel safe.

I am in quite a pickle now.

I could use a hand.

I will say a little pray to you…

Please lead me to land.

I am across now

You have led me true.

How you kept up with me I never knew

But I am so glad you do.
