Leader

There's a reason not to speak unless spoken to

It for their mirage of females

They tell you to sit pretty and act dumbfounded

because that's how you'll get attention

But I'm not that person

I am powerful in my thoughts

My words are wisdom rolling off my tongue

My faith is mountain moving

So no longer can I sit and wait for them to tell me how to act

We are a generation based on an image of clueless people

But I will not wait to be directed

Because I am the neck that turns the head

I am the brain that controls the body

I am the nerve that moves the fingers

I am the electricity that powers the cord

So don't look at me and suspect someone who will stand back and follow

Because I will lead
