Leaf and blanket

Rustle, rustle, pop I've let go, I'm gone. I'm on a preplanned journey, Yet I'm lost. Surely you can leave your tree, And be found. Surely you can leave your tree, And still be beautiful. I fall, The air surrounds me, a blanket of hope, A blanket of possibility, A cold harsh blanket of luck, Or is it unlucky, I cannot tell. Till I reach the ground. There I want a blanket, One of leaves, Others like me, To keep me safe, A blanket of warmth, A blanket of love. I land, There is nothing.
