lean into the fall
sometimes it hurts
sometimes it’s hard to cope with
sometimes it takes you over
you start acting weird
feeling nothing but pain
you see the world differently
you blink your eyes and nothing seems to change
you feel lost
yet in a way you feel stuck
you’re backed into a corner
there is no way out
you try to run and you seem to bounce back to square one
every way you go a wall is there blocking you in
you scream for help in a crowded room
no one even glances up
sometimes it seems easier to give up
sometimes there is only one way out
you’ve got to lean into the fall
the landing might hurt
but a new door will open up
