Lean on Jesus

I'm supposed to be the solider

who never blows her composure.

Even when I'm carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders.
I Don't shed a tear
Though it's my heart that's in fear.
I'm stranded on this island,
with no one to confide in.
sure i have you!
and you're not my number two!!
But I fail you everyday
In every which way,

How could you use me anyway?

So I've built up a wall
hoping you can't see when I fall,
Out here it's rough
And im trying to be tough!

I can't live without you now
you're everything I know how,
I stay strong til the night
Though it'll take all my fight.
I don't need money, nor fame
compared to you everything is lame!

I'll Lean on Jesus
For its him who frees us.
And I'll Bow my head to pray
To make it through this day.
