Leap of Faith
"Take a leap of faith with him."
I never really understood what it meant
To trust the wrath of a hurricane
Or have it love you absolutely
All contained in one being
I assume it's like playing with fire --
"Take that leap."
-- Selling your soul
Being dragged back up
And having it pieced back together.
If the wrath of a hurricane could love me absolutely,
Why then I need search further
For other distractions?
"Take a leap of faith with him."
But I can't.
Maybe that's why we can't fly -- take that leap:
Because we're scared of falling
When we're already
On the ground.
