Learn From Me

Adoption is tough,

Adoption is life changing,

I would be first to know.

Let me tell you how:

I hurt for years without knwing,

I cried so many nights just longing,

Was it for her?

Was it for my long lost home?

Was it for my past?

Let me tell you how:

I needed help

But pride wouldn't let me recieve it.

Let me tell you how:

I tried,

I'm still trying,

I'm growing,

I'm accepting,

And let me tell you how most of all

I'm loving who I've become.
