Learning

I learn what it is like to be alone to not have someone right there beside me. Everyday I follow the same routine The same little things until they are done. The only change in my special routine is that the person that used to be there, the one that I talked to all day and night decided, that with me, to not be seen. I felt as though my heart had been ripped out, that it had been torn to shreds and then burned. Everything felt so perfect with him, but I feel I did wrong, without a doubt. I realize that I had done no wrong or at least none that I could establish. I know that he was just scared to commit and from this ordeal, I have become strong. There will be days when I just want to cry, other days, I know I am better off. I am learning to live and to accept, but I will never get over the lie. I will be left in wonder and concern and continue to ask myself, “Why?”
