Learning

We all sit in a desk

Whether we want to or not,

Learning things that you think we 'ought

To know. But are we really learning?

Studying and memorizing things.

I know why the caged bird sings.

I'd rather read and travel and see,

But instead I must graph this line

Hoping this will prepare me for something divine.
