Learning From Depression

My mind rose,

my heart pose,

and feeling closed-

I managed to dispose

the memory I misdiagnosed.

My perception was so neat,

but that gap threw me out off beat.

Tainted the years with war paint

which freed the saint

that I can't restraint.
