Learning to Fly

A brand new year with more to come
Its easy for others but harder for some
Homework loads like reckless waves
But do it for the future that it paves!
I might procrastinate, but I’ll break through
I’ll have a mint and a coffee or two
Loving school and gaining knowledge,
That’s the attitude that will get me into college
Sometimes I’ll be frustrated or maybe cry
But that’s what is going to teach me how to fly
