Learning to Love
I can be anything
another wants me to be
I can follow your dream
and stay by your side
but in the end that is not me
I’d only be the error of my mistakes
How can I be something behind my drapes
Drapes so blinding, my downfall stays
I’d be lying to myself, when I say “I love you”
I can’t even love myself, to love another
Love can only be endure when I live to love
How can I love you, when I can’t accept myself
I need your patience, to surpass this imperfection
Imperfections, so stubborn, I hurt others, in self
Don’t tell me you love me, for I can’t be who you want me to be
Show me your ways, to find the truth of such emotion
Love me, so I can learn to love as much as you
For in the end love it one’s self is the key to love another
