Learning to Swim


I have always been alone, People at my side but never really in my life, Feeling like I'm lost at sea, Drowning in the waves, Held down in a place so dark I can't see, Then there's you, Holding me steady with just your words, I'm no longer rocking under the current, But still blinded by what used to be, So forgive me if some days are a struggle, I'm still learning how to swim
