At Least One Person

A lighter runs out of fuel

A fire turns its wood to ash

The sun sets

A lighter can be refueled

Wood can be addedto a fireplace

The sun rises again

Life begins again every day

Even if it seems like the next day will be the same as the last

A thousand tears

A hundred wounds

Pleads to be saved

Begging for a reason to keep going

A letter means someone who cares

A rock on the shoreside may not be missed by many

But to at least one person

That stone is the most beautiful thing they've ever seen

They look for it every time they're near the riverbed

One flower in a bouquet may not be special to most

But to at least one person

That's their favorite flower

The one they look for everytime they see those bouquets

One voice in a symphony of people may not be heard

But at least one person

That voice is their favorite sound

They listen for it in every song

You are loved

You are wanted

You are cared for
