Leave and Move On

Hello, do you see me?

I'm hiding in your memories.

Look at me, what do you see?

Blinking eyes and shaking knees.

Leave me alone, get out of my head.

Stop chasing what is long gone.

That chapter of my life's been read.

Time to move on, I'm not your pawn.

Don't lie to me you pathetic fool!

Admit your love is still strong.

Tell me that our love will rule.

Confess that you're in the wrong!

Your attempts are but useless.

I've been running away for years.

Take what you need and God bless.

For I hope you find peace, not tears...
