Leave your seed

You come here looking for peace
A place where your heart can settle
And the pain will decease
You come in shivering,
And lost.
Sorry to break it to you,
But broken hearts have been here before,
And if you choose to stay,
It'll only make it one more.
Darling,
I'm sorry that we can't heal you.
For a moment,
We can only conceal you.
But lay your treasures here,
Even if you were to disappear.
Let your seed stay
In hopes that trees can grow.
They say,
My dear that you reap what you sow.
I know you came here looking for peace,
But this is only where broken people come to decease.
You've got a little light,
When you roam through these halls,
It's out of your sight,
But it's the one thing that falls.
We can't heal your lonely heart
But maybe leaving your seed,
Will set us up for a new start
