Leaves 12-18-17
The wind raced through the trees
And caused the leaves to shiver
Violently, so much so that a great
Number of them trembled right
Off of the branch and drifted
To the ground dead and defeated
I couldn’t help but notice these
Fallen ones as they coasted on
The chill of the December air
