Leaves

Even the trees are more interesting than I,

For their leaves change color.

From glowing orange to bright red,

They please any audience that drives by.

An applause in the form of  a smile is what is recieved

As they are swayed in a gentle breeze.

Never talked about in a malicious fashion nor form,

The only words exchanged are of how alluring they are in the fall,

They get all the admiration and no condemenation.

Not like I, whoe gets utteres words jaded and dull.

I envy the trees that bare beautiful leaves,

They rob me of the words I always long to hear.

This poem is about:
Me
