Leaving Alive

I ran the race

It was my life

A race inside a maze

Speed can only get you lost

Losing brings disgrace

Needs can only get you lost

Winning takes a certain pace

Losing is easy, look at most

Who now have shame on their faces

A real winner doesn't lose

And not all victories are really victories

Nothing is certain and nothing is final

When I go back to the start

Which is when I depart

I will live this earth alive

Full of life and wisdom.

Elfuric

Ever since I learnt how to write I never stopped writing short stories, poems and ideas. I am from Africa living in South Africa, Joburg. I am a business man with a love for music and writing. Its lovely how a poem can be turned into a song. Rhythm and Words are my closest friends. I respect The Sound of Life and the power in following your Heart which makes Music till the day you die.
