Leaving the closet

1 John 5:19

19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.

Skeletons

Coming out of the closet … sinful filled with pride

We are just normal in our freedom of choice

Enslaved to the flesh with nothing left to hide

Destruction of the heart … praising that in voice

Doing what is right becomes an odd perspective

What used to be unacceptable will form into hate

Sickness of the flesh shows its own directive

with aids moving justly as sin seems out of date

Death smiling down through the power of darkness

Reaching out to embrace the blind and the deaf

Promising a crown that glitters and sparkles

Misleading the human race to leave it all bereft
