Leaving Home

Engines rumble, tires screech, hearts pump, eyes close, tears roll, breathing slows, hands grasp as I... I pick my eyes up and stare at the worst sight I could imagine,Imagine seeing your whole world fall apart in front of your eyes,Eyes fill with tears and the world stops for a second,Seconds are all that’s left of the life I know,Know that my world will be changed forever,Forever seems like such a long time,Time is the only thing I wish I had,Had one more change to say goodbye,Goodbye wouldn’t fix the pain I feel,Feel like like I’m not ready to move on to my next life,Life is such a delicate thing,Things rushing through my head,Head hurts from all the noise,Noise from planes that take off and move, Move across the country for college?College is what is going to separate me from the ones I love,Love to hug them once more,More time with my family is all I want...
