Leaving Me Behind

when you left, it was like a knife to the heart over and over again. you never

said a single word before leaving me all alone, without a word. as you left out

the door and slammed it, i knew you were never coming back to save me from

the nightmares that haunt me at night. did you even think that i would forgive

you for how you treated me and said horrible heart wrenching words to me? the

answer is no because without you, i can now do the things i want and hang out with

my friends, instead of you standing wanting me to have you wait for me not to be

with anyone. you never stopped to think about other people and what their feelings

were. the night i broke up with you, i almost wanted to come crawling back.

you should be the one who should be sorry for all the times you made me feel

like i was nothing. so for now, you are leaving me behind without a single final

glance.
