Left Behind

We are taught from a young age to run fast or you'll get left behind, But while everyone else is far ahead and regretting running all that way, You're in the back, enjoying yourself and what you see, The other kids were to busy trying to catch up they missed the amazing world around them I am considered slow by a lot of my friends, Mentally and physically, But while they are miles ahead focusing on somewhere we haven't gotten to yet, I am completely content staring in wonder and being left behind.
