Left-Brained

If I could change one thing,

I would change my writing skills.

I would improve them and mold them

so I could pay my college bills.

So many scholarships

require a poem or essay.

If only I had better writing skills,

I would recieve scholarships everyday.

Writing is not just proper grammar,

because I know how to write correctly.

Writing involves imagination,

but that side of my brain is not strong, sadly.

I can write,

but my imagination remains locked away.

If only I could release this inside of me,

that would make my day.
