Left for Dead

Death crept and wrapped its arms around many With its loving embrace, which my eyes have seen My eyes have retreated and sunk into the dark Faith crumpled and the wind blows carrying its dust A walking skeleton is in the mist Can you see my bones poking through my skin? Hunger beats me and roars with anger wishing for just a ration of bread and butter The number forever etched into my skin A constant reminder of the demons and the terror they have brought Lives in a world where the devil runs and plays How can you recover from a life filled with pain?
