Left With No Return

I ask you a question but I get no response back,

I always hug you but you don't hug back,

I told you I love you even though you won't say it back,

So I wait like Hachikō, hoping you will come back.                                                                                   Day after day, I return to you  but you never return to me.

That day you left and told me you would be back soon,

I've been waiting and I still believe.

You may have left with no return exactly that day,

but I'm hoping that, like a rabbit, you will come back out of your hole anyway.

They told me to leave you for a while and think of other things,

but here I am visiting again as if I don't have better to do like a bird that has lost its wings.
