Left, Right, Back, Forward

I am inconsistent.

I have eyes, some lies, and many highs.

To live like me you must love life.

I am ordinary but unordinary.

I have invisible and visible scars.

To know oneself truly is life changing and I am on my journey.

My mom is not my role model and my dad is my hero.

I am blunt and straightforward.

College is in the near future,

but I am not sure of my true path in life.

I do not have a passion;

I hope to soon.

People recognize me as “basic white girl.”

I am in ways that girl,

but in others not at all.

Coffee is my Achilles heel, but my sister is my kryptonite.

I miss my friends if I do not see them for more than 24 hours.

My dad is my rock and my stepmom is my sunshine.

My brother is my best friend.

I guess I love my mom;

time will heal the wounds.

I am hopeful.

I am patient and impatient.

I am consistent and inconsistent.

I do not know myself yet,

but I am trying.

I love a lot but hurt a lot as well.

This is me, turning left and right.

This is me, returning and leaving.
