Left In the Shadows

Who is that girl?

Alone in the dark.

Quietly sobbing to herself.

She's been left in the shadows.

Her heart aches.

The pain stings her everywhere.

She's done wrong before.

But things were going so well.

Yet, she is just left in the shadows.

She's been tossed aside like a rag doll.

No one wants her.

No one needs her.

Who is that girl?

Alone in the dark.

Quietly sobbing to herself.

She's been left in the shadows.

He said that she was his world.

But those pictures scream a different story.

He said that he wanted her as his wife.

But she was just used to fill a void in his pitiful life.

Who is that girl?

Alone in the dark.

Quietly sobbing to herself.

She's been left in the shadows.
