Left Unsaid

Tears pour down her face.
For the first time in her life,
She feels alone, and no ones there
To pick the pieces up.

He's so lost without her now.

He doesn't know what to do.
He's trying to hold it all in,
But a tear rolls down his cheek.

She's trying so hard to find him

To say the words she couldn't before.
He's looking for her
To show her he still cares.
And when they finally find each other
They both cry out,

"These tears are the words
That my heart couldn't say before.
These tears are the wounds
We left wide open,
When we walked away that day.
These tears, our tears,
Are the words we left unsaid.

These tears are the three words
We should have said before.
They were left unspoken
But now I know,
I love you."
