Left Unspoken

Happiness,

A feeling I cannot explain

The feeling you gave

When you flashed those green eyes with golden flecks

The feeling you gave

I most definitely did not expect

The way your presence would lift my mood

Who knew the awakening that was yet to come

Would be so rude.

Whatever your thinking,

I wish not to intrude.

The excitement I got

When I see you every wednesday night.

The way you looked at me,

Oh, what a sight.

Was it me?

Or was it you?

Did something happen to change your view?

When you spoke

“your not use to this, are you?”

I knew it was coming

The end was near.

It all happened so fast.

Almost as if nothing had happened in the past.

You left me standing there,

Like you had no time to spare.

Left me wondering,

Did you  ever really care?

10 months later,

Here I am still.

Chasing  after you,

Like there was no time to kill

Talked  all night long,

So much to catch up on.

Soon I realized it was all for nothing.

How stupid of me.

To think,

We could still be something.

You are still the same as you were.

And that is not something I deserve..

I know I said that I wanted to hear what was bothering you,,

 but still.

When you dropped that weight,

What did you expect me to say?

Did you think I would act differently?

And say that I can relate?

I do not take back anything.

Although at times,

 I may say otherwise.

Happiness,

A feeling I still can not explain.

A feeling I no longer feel..

A feeling you no longer give.

Instead replaced with

Anxiety,

10 times as big..
