Legacy

What will my legacy be?

What do I have to see in the mirror to obtain it?

I am looking in the mirror and I can't see it.

Things are not getting clearer and clearer with each step I take.

Maybe is it because I am looking in the mirror alone?

Days go by, months and eventually years are gone as well.

For some reason, I am always having my head down wherever I walk too.

"Hey! HEY!" a women shouting at me and I hear children laughing.

Who could that be? What does she want? Why are they approaching me?

For the first time, my head was lifted up as she gazed me.

I gasp for air and she helped me remember who I want to be remembered and become.

A man who wants to be surrounded by the people I love.

And look in the mirror and be happy with those around me.
