Legacy

Sentences border on senselessness

Paranoia per paragraph

How do they see me?

Tears of black

Soulless ink

Drip to pages

of aged paper

To which cathedrals

Castles and other dreams

Erupt like weeds

From chapped lips

sprout dead, bloody hearts

Stollen from loved ones

To create my throne

Of iron, steel, and blood,

of memories, laughter, and screams

How do they see me now?
