Legs Dangling Off The Edge

Legs Dangling off The Edge

The feeling of empty air under my dangling feet,
How I made it this far is quite the feat,
My body feels numb
and often I feel pretty dumb.
Then again I have no one to blame
for it is from my own doing that I am full of shame.
There is only two choices from now on
and to make that choice I must remain calm.
To face my internal struggle and overcome it all
Or to just take the fall.

Here I now am
sometimes happy as a clam.
Fighting for what I believe is right
even if the light ahead doesn't seem so bright.
I need to overcome my fears,
Learn to wipe my own tears.
There is still that breeze under my feet,
Yet still being here is quite a feat.

Growing up takes sometime
and sometimes things just don't feel fine.
But accepting who you are
can take you very far.
I learned to take things step by step
on this challenging trek.
it takes guts to come so far
and learned exactly who you are.
Learn how I have learned,
Strive for the things you yearn.
To Glow up
One must first Grow Up
